About Me

I am the proud father of five incredible children and grandfather to ten wonderful grandchildren. My family is the cornerstone of my life, bringing me joy and inspiring me to give my best in everything I do.

Born in New York in 1973, I moved to Israel at the age of 13, where I spent nearly 35 years immersed in a journey of growth, service, and purpose. During my time there, I served as a medic in the military and worked as an ambulance driver. These roles shaped my sense of responsibility and commitment to helping others.

My early years were spent in an ultra-Hasidic community, where I developed a deep devotion to God with all my heart and soul. One of the most common questions I get is how I have five children, given that I divorced my wife of 12 years after she came out as a lesbian. I’ve been told my life story is so unique and full of twists that I should write a book about it.

Right: old me, left: new me

Almost four years ago, at the age of 48, I returned to the United States to care for my grandmother in New Hampshire. After the tragic loss of my 29-year-old stepbrother—her devoted caretaker—to cancer, I stepped in to take his place. When my grandmother passed away, I stayed on to care for my elderly mother, who needed my support and wouldn’t let me leave. Caring for my family has been both a privilege and a responsibility.

In addition to my family and caregiving, I am an author. I’ve written a children’s book, "Fly Into Your Heart With the Cat Who Is Smart", which teaches children about the heart in a fun, whimsical rhyming way. I’ve also created a series of crossword puzzle books, including medical-themed editions, designed to entertain and challenge healthcare professionals.

The only obstacle to finding peace for me and my family is the fraudulent student loan taken out in my name for a school I never attended. I sincerely hope that Elon, or anyone else, can help me finally overcome this burden that weighs heavily on me, as well as over 500 other affected students.
